Looks like the Hollywood Bowl Box Office Plaza construction is getting close to completion. You would guess it would have to be with the first lease event of the season (Korean Times Music Festival) happening the day before and Opening Night at the Bowl just six weeks away.
Of course the Hollywood Bowl Plaza design is beautiful. The Bowl Store, Market Place and Box Office all look like they could open any week now. Walking up to the Hollywood Bowl theater near the Wine Bar off to the right are the beginnings of new structures that will be the hosting various food carts. Looking forward to seeing which food vendors call these new permanent structures home.
Here are some photos. Enjoy!
The Hollywood Bowl theater area now opens up at 8am. As one who enjoys walking the Hollywood Bowl weekend mornings at 7AM, I was surprised to see the barricades. At first I thought it might be due to the plaza construction however the next weekend a sign appeared explaining the lack of early morning access.

Ticket prices for the Hollywood Bowl are on the rise for the 2017 season. The LA Country Board of Supervisors cited increased production costs such as marketing, labor and talent fees.
Most seats will increase $1 to $2. Even with the 2017 bump 40% of tickets sold will still be $29 or less for weekday performances and $35 or less for weekend concerts. As with the price increase in 2016 the most affected are the Hollywood Bowl Box and Pool circle seats. The best seats in the house will increase by up to $7 for Saturday performances and $10 for special events. This means that the best seats at the Hollywood Bowl for a Saturday performance will be $196 ($340 for special events).
Parking costs will not change.
